TUMIL-K® (potassium gluconate) Gel
TUMIL-K® Gel is indicated for use as a supplement in cats and dogs with potassium deficiency, especially in cats with renal disease. TUMIL-K Gel delivers 2 mEq of potassium gluconate in each 1/2 teaspoonful of gel. Available in a 5 oz tube.
Precautions: Use with caution in the presence of cardiac disease, particularly in patients using digitalis.
Warnings: Do not administer to cats with acute, oliguric, or very advanced renal failure. Do not administer in other diseases where high potassium levels may be encountered such as adrenal insufficiency, acute dehydration, or urethral obstruction.
