On Thursday, August 13, 2009 Virbac AH, Inc., the manufacturer of IVERHART PLUS® Flavored Chewable Tablets, a heartworm preventive medicine, announced a voluntarily recall of three product lots.

IVERHART Products are well tolerated. All dogs should be tested for heartworm infection before starting a preventive program.
