VIRBAC INTRODUCES C.E.T.® VEGGIEDENT™ CHEWS

FORT WORTH, Texas (August 13, 2008) – Virbac Animal Health (Virbac) announces the addition of C.E.T. ® VeggieDent™ dental chews to the C.E.T. Home Dental Care line. Many pet owners and their veterinarians prefer a vegetable chew for dogs. VeggieDent answers this need with an effective vegetable-matrix chew.
VeggieDent chews add a new “chew” dimension to the C.E.T. Home Dental Care strategy—good to chew, better to rinse, best to brush. With VeggieDent chews, veterinarians and dog owners now have another choice—a quality, vegetable-based chew. According to Michael Walsh, marketing manager, “Studies demonstrate over 98% acceptance of VeggieDent chews by dogs, as well as 37% plaque and 70% tartar reduction.” Dogs love the unique, easy-to-hold “Z” shape, the taste, and the tough, chewy consistency of VeggieDent chews. VeggieDent chews are available in two sizes—small (4″) and regular (6″) and are packaged 30 chews per bag. As with all C.E.T. Home Dental Care products, VeggieDent chews are available only from veterinarians.
