CANINE HYPOTHYROIDISM CHAPTER 2, UNDERSTANDING HYPOTHYROIDISM, NOW ONLINE AT VIRBAC UNIVERSITY
FORT WORTH, Texas (November 07, 2008) – Virbac Animal Health (Virbac) has added a second chapter of the Canine Hypothyroidism module to Virbac University (www.virbacuniversity.com). This new chapter reviews hypothyroidism, its clinical diagnostics and treatment concepts, and outlines how to develop tools that can help the veterinary team and the client identify the insidious signs of hypothyroidism.
Virbac University is an online, interactive resource in an easy-to-use format that is ideal for medical education, staff training, and refreshers. Throughout the year new courses are added and are available in several specialty areas: Dental Health (C.E.T. University), Dermatology (Derm U), Heartworm Prevention and Canine Hypothyroidism. There is no charge for courses offered through Virbac University. Participants can earn free continuing education credit which is approved through the AAVSB RACE program for both veterinarians and veterinary technicians.
