VIRBAC Rebound® OES Oral Electrolyte Solution

Effectively addresses minor dehydration in dogs and cats.

FORT WORTH, Texas (June 12, 2008) – During the hot summer months dehydration can become a problem in dogs and cats and, of course, anytime as a result of diarrhea, vomiting, physical exertion or illness. The loss of bodily fluids can happen quickly but Rebound® OES Oral Electrolyte Solution, a veterinary product from Virbac Animal Health, is specifically formulated to rehydrate dogs and cats.

“When dehydration occurs,” Mary King, D.V.M., Virbac Director of Technical Services, said, “there is also a loss of electrolytes, chemical elements, such as sodium, potassium and chloride, which are vital to normal cell function. Rebound OES addresses this critical situation.”

This convenient ready-to-use, rapidly absorbed oral electrolyte and fluid replacer is given free-choice. Formulated by a veterinary nutritionist, it has a palatable chicken flavor that encourages fluid consumption even in sick and debilitated animals. Rebound OES contains the proper balance of fluids and electrolytes to help rehydrate dogs and cats naturally. Rebound OES is available in 32 fl. oz. (946 ml.) Tetra Pak® re-sealable containers.
