HEXADENE Medicated Shampoo is an antimicrobial shampoo designed for use on dogs, cats and horses with dermatological conditions responsive to chlorhexidine.

ANTI-ADHESIVE glycotechnology utilizes a unique combination of monosaccharides and an alkypolyglucoside that reduces bacterial and yeast adhesion to the stratum corneum. This action physically disrupts micro-organism colonization on the skin surface and may delay onset of irritation due to topical bacteria or yeast.

SPHERULITES® Microcapsules: an exclusive encapsulation system that provides a slow release of ingredients long after product application.

Chitosanide: a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair. This reinforces hydrating and restoring effects of the formulation, helping to protect the skin against damage from the environment.

Active Ingredients:

Chlorhexidine gluconate and Chlorhexidine acetate, equivalent to 3% w/v Chlorhexidine gluconate.

Also contains: SPHERULITES® Microcapsules, monosaccharides and an akylpolyglucoside.

Use:

Directions for Use: Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage HEXADENE Medicated Shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair coat for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water.
