PYOBEN Medicated Shampoo is an antimicrobial, keratolytic and follicular flushing shampoo for use on dogs, cats and horses of any age. SPHERULITES® Microcapsules, an exclusive encapsulation system: an exclusive encapsulation system developed by Virbac; provides a slow release of the ingredients long after product application. Chitosanide: a natural biopolymer that creates a protective film on the skin and hair, helping to protect the skin against damage from the environment.

Active Ingredients:

Benzoyl Peroxide 3% w/w.

Ingredients:

Purified water, sodium C14-16 olefin sulfonate, SPHERULITES® Microcapsules, carbomer, glycerin, citric acid, and chitosanide. Chitosanide and glycerin are present in encapsulated (SPHERULITES® Microcapsules) and free forms. Urea is present in encapsulated form.

Use:

Directions for use: Shake well before use. Wet the hair coat with warm water and apply a sufficient amount of shampoo to create a rich lather. Massage PYOBEN Medicated Shampoo into wet hair coat, lather freely. Rinse and repeat. Allow to remain on hair coat for 5 to 10 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with clean water. Frequency of use: Initially two to three times a week for four weeks, then reducing to once a week, or as directed by your veterinarian.
